The Mānuka Skirt Sew-Kit comes in a variety of colours, prints and compositions including Linen, 100% Cotton and Rayon.

Our Linen options are made from 55% Cotton, 45% Linen meaning it results in a firmer and boxier look. Easy to sew for beginners. Available in Candy Pink, Cornflower Blue and Lipstick Red.

Our 100% Cotton options are also easy to sew for beginners. Available in Vintage Rose Tartan Check.

Our Rayon options are made from 100% Spun Rayon, Woven. A light and silky, non-stretch fabric for those more confident sewers. Available in Olive.

PATTERN INFORMATION

This Mānuka Skirt Sew-Kit includes a complete tutorial to guide you through the creation of the skirt. You'll learn how to inseam or waistband pockets, elastic waistband and faux button band. The Mānuka Skirt pattern and its finishing touches will have you creating a garment that boasts handmade of such a high quality! Regardless of your sewing skills (beginner or advanced), you will up-skill and learn some new techniques along the way.

SEWING LEVEL

FIT AND EASE OF TOP

The Mānuka Skirt has been created to wear at the waist, with the hem landing just below the knee. The flat front sits nicely over the waist, and the elastic back keeps it taught and comfortable.

When you are choosing what size to create, measure around the waist (the narrowest part of the torso). Use the waist measurement to determine what size to create.

This pattern has been made using Standard NZ and UK measurements and might seem different to what you usually buy in stores. Therefore, use the size the chart says you are to fit the waist, and if required, lengthen or shorten the skirt as needed.
